Hello, I’m Dr. Seif.

It’s pronounced “safe”, the feeling I hope all my patients have when they’re in my exam chair!

I’m one of the lucky people in the world who knew what they wanted to be from a young age. My vision was poor as a child, and receiving my first pair of glasses was a milestone moment. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to the idea of paying it forward and sharing the moment that was so special to me with others.

I opened the Contact Lens Institute of Seattle to provide a better type of eye care, especially for difficult cases. I believe in ample one-on-one time between doctor and patient. Having an unrushed appointment allows me to fully understand a person’s visual needs and enables both parties to discuss and consider all possible options. I believe in co-managing with other doctors to optimize care. I believe in upfront pricing with no surprise bills. In short, I aim to provide the care that I wish to receive when I am the patient.

In addition to routine exams, I have a particular interest in specialty and custom contact lenses for people with a variety of difficult eye conditions such as keratoconus, irregular astigmatism, high astigmatism, aphakia, trauma as well as post-transplant and post-refractive surgery patients. I am also well-versed in using scleral lenses for anterior segment conditions including neurotrophic keratitis, severe dry eye, Bell’s palsy, and exposure keratitis.

If you have any questions about what the Contact Lens Institute of Seattle can offer you, don’t hesitate to email or call in so my team and I can point you in the right direction.
